Top Shot is a target-shooting simulator. Gun barrel accuracy, breathing, and bullet drop-off all play a role in how accurate your shots will be. There are over 20 authentic guns to use and a wide variety of shooting games to play. Learn the characteristics of the guns and discover the best ones to use for each game! Beat the high scores and increase your rank. You’re on your way to becoming a Top Shot!
Quick Start
Start Top Shot, select "New Player" and enter your player information. The next screen is the Gun Selection Screen where you can choose a gun to use. You can return to the Gun Selection Screen at any time in the game. After selecting a gun you will be brought to the Game Selection Menu where you can choose a shooting activity to explore.
Your gun's targeting cursor moves differently depending on your height, weight and which gun you choose. Some guns will be easier to aim than others!
Remember, even if you place the targeting cursor exactly where you want the bullet to go, the accuracy of your gun's barrel and the distance of the target may change where your bullet hits! In general, rifles will be better for long distances and handguns better for short distances and moving targets. We don't suggest going into the Skeet range without a shotgun! Changing guns to match the games you play is key to your success.
You can activate the "Hold Breath" feature to steady your aim for a few seconds, however, you will lose accuracy for several seconds afterwards as you catch your breath. The "Hold Breath" feature can not be used again until you have caught your breath.
Your score will be calculated differently for each of the games you play. Factors that can affect your score include how long it takes you to hit your target, how far away the target is, if your target is moving or stationary, where your shot hit the target, and how many targets you hit. For the Police-Style Simulator, you can lose points or lose the game entirely if you hit a non-hostile target!
